Real racing 2 iap cracher1/31/2024 Micro-transaction works well when the game is casual and simple. Micro-transaction + real time wait games can work but they are aimed at completely different people. This is like ranting that renting dvds is evil because you personally feel that not having to ask the question of "do i want to pay $x to rent this for tonight" is a pain in the ass, then suggesting that some movies shouldn't be rent-able. Other than the fact that the hypothetical casual game is pro microtransaction (as millions of people are), what exactly is the difference here. So if there is someone out there who don't like paying $X straight up for game Y and prefers to do microtransactions, he is justified in his belief that straight up paying for things should NOT be in every game and that everything SHOULD primarily be microtransaction focused? Why should you're opinion of something limit other people's ability to play it or developer's ability to make it for those people?īut when it makes it in to every aspect of a game it just get's to be to much. Other people are fine with it, some even prefer it. If you don't like something, don't play it. The main reason for this is that in these games you are constantly made to make a real life value judgement, "can I afford this? Is it worth it?", and it's a pain in the ass.ĭoes the fact that you feel its a pain in the ass to make those judgement justify going around saying that those choices shouldn't exist? However, some people might rather spend the $9.99 on a car pack instead of unlocking them within the game and spending time on it, and they're able to. I've only spent my $1.99 and feel no need to spend more. I'd have happily paid $10, not have repair or deliver times ever and no in app purchases. For a free game I'm constantly impressed. I'm hooked, the in app purchases do not ruin the game at all, they simple allow you a method to speed things up. My next car I will not be purchasing with my hard earned real money, rather my enjoyably earned in game cash. I made the conscious choice that I'd rather spend money on that car than my time to afford it in game. I have purchased the starter pack which is a few gold and a BMW Z4 for $1.99. If you have more than one car it's even easier to just wait the time out, at the start I just browsed reddit for a small amount of time rather than pay gold to speed things up. You can buy gold for cash, or just earn it by racing, or better yet, wait and let the time go by. One of the annoying parts of the game is the 'delivery' and 'repair' time that can be limited by spending 'gold'. The time spent to reach the same things you could by paying is slim. It's super arcadey and not a sim at all, but damn is it fun while riding on the bus, waiting for laundry to finish, or just after a quick lunch. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creeschĪs an avid sim racer I am simply ADDICTED to Real Racing 3./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
